She specialises in Executive Coaching, Management Development, Communications & Interpersonal skills, Team Building and Personal Effectiveness. She holds a Master Trainer qualification from the Master Trainer Institute and is accredited in a range of psychometric instruments, including Myers Briggs Type Indicator, 16 PF, and BarOn EQ-1.
These technical qualifications underpin an approach based on understanding, trust, and confidentiality, and the belief that coaching interventions and training programmes succeed only where there is true rapport between trainer and trainee.
Marie holds a Diploma in Financial Services from the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and has thirty years experience in the banking sector in managerial roles ,Learning & Development, Sales, Operations Management, Project Management. This gives her a deep understanding of the challenges facing management and staff in today’s competitive work environment. More pertinently, it has allowed her see at first hand how proper coaching and training can make even the most routine jobs more rewarding, interesting, and productive.
She is also a Master Practitioner in NeuroLinguistic Programming, and holds Diplomas in Executive Coaching from the Irish Management Institute and from the Irish Institute of NLP.
Marie’s philosophy – which has delivered excellent results for clients such as Bank of Ireland, Accenture, AIB, Google, and various departments within the Public Sector is that a coach or trainer does not impose their knowledge on others: instead, they give individual human beings the freedom to learn for themselves, and thence to apply their new-found knowledge in ways that suit their own workaday needs.
A firm believer in the value of life-long learning, she devotes time not spent developing others to her own further education, so as to ensure her skills remain at the cutting edge of executive and personal development training to make a difference to her own life and to the lives of others.
