
Amanda coaches on presentation and interview skills, producing internal and external communication documents, practicing negotiation skills, implementing communication structures and in dealing effectively with the print and broadcast media.
Amanda worked for four years as a TV Researcher on RTE’s flagship programme The Late Late Show. She has produced innovative content crossing all genres, sourced and media-trained contributors and established an extensive network of contacts.
Last year she took up a new role as a Researcher/Developer for RTE TV Special Projects where she co-ordinates event TV broadcasts and enhances existing formats for RTE Entertainment including Winning Streak and The People of the Year Awards. Further broadcast credits include The Irish Film and Television Awards 2009, Tubridy rings in The New Year, Eurovision Song Contest, People in Need Telethon and RTE Radio’s News at One.
Amanda qualified as an Executive Coach in 2007 after being awarded a distinction in a Coaching Diploma with Executive Coaching Solutions. She has further developed her coaching skills with training in presentation and interview skills. She is currently studying for a diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy specialising in performance anxiety.
Before joining RTE, Amanda worked as an English and History secondary school teacher with an impressive examination record. She further specialised in Career Guidance and regularly coaches second level students in communication and study skills. She is particularly passionate about empowering this age group to build self-esteem and communicate with confidence.
