Irial O'Farrell (A)

Irial is fascinated by what makes companies and their people perform.  This has led her on a journey of curiosity, from doing the work to managing the team that did the work to developing the managers who managed the teams that did the work to developing the leaders who run the companies so that everyone can succeed. 

Along the way, she has picked up qualifications and experience in executive coaching, emotional intelligence, training design and delivery, personality tools, competency frameworks, performance management, interviewing, leadership development, personal and company values,…there’s a few more but you probably don’t want to hear about the degree in physics and math or the diploma in statistics.

Finally, during her spare time in 2011, she got around to writing and publishing a book,Values-Not Just for the Office Wall Plaque: How Personal and Company Values Intersect.  The book explores the connection between executives' personal values and their company values, the power effective harnessing of values can have on a business' performance and the undermining impact of poorly executed values.
